Security Deposit Policy
Some iSpeedly properties may require a security deposit.
1. Purpose
A security deposit may be collected to protect against:

Property damage

Missing items
-
Lost keys or access devices

Excessive cleaning

Breach of property rules
-
Other reasonable costs resulting from a guest's stay
2. Deposit Amount
The required deposit may vary by property and booking.
The applicable amount will be communicated before or during the booking process.
3. Return of Deposit
Where applicable, the deposit will be returned after the property has been checked and any relevant deductions have been assessed.
4. Deductions
Where damage or other chargeable issues are identified, reasonable amounts may be deducted from the deposit.
5. Damage Exceeding Deposit
Where the cost of damage exceeds the security deposit, the guest may remain responsible for the additional reasonable cost, subject to applicable law.
6. Normal Wear and Tear
Reasonable wear and tear arising from normal use will not ordinarily be treated as guest-caused damage.
